Enjoy the offerings of Chef Regis Guilpain as he prepares a true feast for the eyes and the palette at a sumptuous brunch on Sunday, March 18 in the castle of Beauvois.
Experience the true “Versailles” spirit complemented by exquisite Louis XV furniture. The restaurant provides guests a venue worthy to host the most lavish royal events. Dine at a King’s table in an intimate setting that features baroque console tables and medallion chairs, an imposing fireplace and coat of arms, caryatid gilded with gold leaf, sculpted torch and glittering majestic crystal chandeliers. Royal blue and gold are used as the central palette of color and provide the backdrop the 110m² room, renamed “Royal living room” and organized with handmade place settings, offset by clean black and white porcelain flooring and capped off with a luminous ceiling. The whole presents a composition in perfect harmony for an immersive experience in the XVIII century of Kings of France.
In this majestic setting, Chef Régis Guilpain finds a beautiful background to orchestrate a gastronomic cooking of heart and emotions. To begin the experience, enjoy a trip to the troglodyte wine cellar of the Castle and enjoy the best wines of the region. You will find, of course, local wines from Val de Loire such as beautiful Chinon, Bourgueil and Saumur, but also wines from Bourgogne like Chablis, Pouilly-fuissé and Pommard. Bordeaux sit proudly with amazing Paulliac and Saint Emilion. Discover Saint Emilion grand cru offerings from M. Younan’s vineyard, Chateau La Croix Fourney: Côtes de Bourg – Château Haut Launay in white and Château Rouselle in red. Taste also some superb Saint-Joseph and Crozes Hermitage from the Côtes du Rhône region. For those with an exceptional palette, there are special, exceptional wines that will please great bottles’ lovers: Dom Ruinard Rosé, Corton Renardes Domaine Maillard 1988, Sauternes Château d’Arche 2nd Cru 1893, and Margaux Château Palmer… enough to light stars in your eyes and touch the divine from the tip of your lips.
