An egg hunt, followed by a special menu and a gastronomic brunch for Easter, the Castle of Beauvois is hosting a sumptuous Easter event. On Sunday, April 1 and Monday, April 2, Chef Régis Guilpain is preparing a lamb feast fit for royalty.
Come with your family, as a couple or with a group of friends to enjoy Easter in the Castle. Using traditional and seasonal products, Chef has designed a five-course menu that pays homage to the flavors of spring.
The first course is a creamy avocado and a tartare of scallop accompanied by a cloud of herring egg Chantilly cream. Full of freshness as the first days of spring are coming, the second course features asparagus and morel that develop their flavor around Perch and a spelt risotto for the perfect land/sea harmony. The sublime notes of spring come to the fore in this dish that makes you want some more.
Enjoy the third course interlude with fresh citrus fruits to cleanse the palate before doing justice to the main course featuring young lamb. In the hands of Chef Guilpain, the saddle of lamb becomes a firework of colors, flavors and odors. The wasabi titillates the taste buds, the cumin adds depth to the moussaka cannelloni, and rosemary perfumes a coated and well-seasoned juice. From lamb to goat, the goat cheese selection pays homage to the region and its know-how by being paired with a prune, apricot and hazelnut chutney.
The final plate is designed to sweeten the taste buds with chocolate in several textures: chocolate nibs on a biscuit, caramelized ganache, crusty praline and a cocoa biscuit. Allow the staff to assist in pairing each course with a carefully selected wine or champagne from the castle’s well-stocked wine cellar.
Children and adults alike can join the hunt for chocolate hidden in a nook of the terrace, at the foot of statues or in the foliage of shrubs! The Easter egg hunt is open to all on Sunday April 1 at 12.30 p.m.
On Monday, Easter brunch will close the party with its sweet and savory buffet. A lovely selection of beautiful pastries whet the paln cold meats, eggs, sea flavors and hot plates will satisfy your appeish with cheese and a riot of desserts.
